I want Bob's Business to create a bespoke course

At Bob's Business, we also specialise in creating custom courses that we don't currently have in our catalogue. This guide will show you how to request a quote. Bob’s Business’ Bespoke Build service offers you a wide variety of options perfectly tailored to meet the requirements of your organisation. Course customisations come in all shapes and sizes, depending on your training needs. This can come in the form of branding an existing Bob’s Business course or we can develop a fully custom course built from custom content, design, and interactions/animations. Prices and timeframes for delivery differ depending on the level of customisation required. What we can offer you Content writing We write and provide the content for the build. You tell us the topics, how long the training should be. Content Structuring You provide the content and we implement this into a module structure. Client logo Implementation of client logo into the module Client branding Implementation of your organisations, tone of voice, and branding. Course Artwork Tailored storyboards and module graphics Course interactive slides Activities - Sliders, Dials, Hotspot questions. Assessment Assessment questions Course mapping and build Policy compliance and mapping Any organisation specific policies and integration Animations Entertaining, story-telling video animations - character-based or infographic. Case studies Text content or video case studies integrated into the learning course Course resources Tailored Digital screen displays, Email signatures, Digital print ready posters to provide support and awareness for the course. Voiceover / Module narration Professional voice-over/ narration available to accompany written content within the course/s To request a quote for a bespoke course, please fill out the following questions with any extra comments and send it to support@bobsbusiness.co.uk or your account manager. - What learning topics are you looking to include in the course/s & do you have a name for the course/s? - How long in terms of learning time should the course be? E.g 15 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour etc. - Would you like us to provide content or do you have content available to build into a course? (If you are supplying content a slideshow of content is best as we can gauge how many slides and how long the learning time will be from this.) By providing us with your content this will make the price a lot cheaper. - Level of interactivity you would like in the course? - animation, hotspot interactions, etc. (Note the most cost-effective option is hotspots and interactions. By adding animations this will increase the cost considerably) - Are you happy for the Bob’s Business characters to be included in the course, or would you like custom characters to be created? - Would you like your own branding to be added? - Are you happy for this course to be re-purposed and used for our other clients? (By doing this it will bring the cost down, but you don’t have to) - Do you have a deadline for when you need the course to be ready by? Here is a document you can also fill out if you would prefer to edit in a document. If you have any questions, please speak with your account manager or contact support@bobsbusiness.co.uk.

How to Embed Content into a Course

Within this guide, you'll learn how to create your course and embed the necessary content using an embedded code! The first step is to ensure you have admin access on your learning portal, as we will be making a new course. To do this, go to the 'Manage' tab at the top, and select 'Courses'. Once selecting this page and coming across all of our content, please select 'Add Course' in the top right. Now you are making the new course, you can begin to fill out the details of the module, such as the Title, the category of the training, and even a description to help set learning objectives and notes for learners! After completing this and also adding a Module completion time, you can click save! Upon saving, you will come across the following screen, where you need to click the 'Add Module' button, and select 'Embedded Content'. There will now be some more details about the module for you to add, such as the module title which will be seen by users, and module format, which outlines the format of the embedded content e.g. eLearning, Quiz, Video etc. You will also be prompted to now add the embed code. You can get an embed code from the website where the content is hosted, typically by finding a "Share" button or an "Embed" option and then copying the HTML code provided. For example, you can find the Embed code on Google Forms by going to the Google Form, clicking the 3 dots in the top right and selecting "Embed HTML". Here is where you can find this code, as well as for Microsoft Forms too which you can find by navigating to the form's "Collect responses" settings and select the Embed option, represented by the </> icon. Once all of the additional data is filled out, you can once again click save! You have now successfully Embedded your required content into a Bob's Business learning module! Your last step is to publish this so users can access this training when needed. To do this, simply go to the Availability on the right hand side of your screen, click 'Manage Availability', and use the top tick box to Publish this and save!
