CyberLearn Troubleshooting Guide

These steps will help you get started with Bob’s eLearning, please follow the instructions in this guide if you are experiencing technical issues. 1. Check if you have a secure internet connection. You will need good internet access to run the courses on your computer. If you click on the WIFI pie slice icon as shown below, this will open your internet service options and it will show your current internet connection status. 2. Check your Internet Browser is fully up to date. On Google Chrome (Our recommended browser), Click the three dots at the top right of the browser window, then click ‘Help’, followed by ‘About Google Chrome’, then click ‘Chrome OS Settings’ highlighted in blue. On the next screen, it will have a ‘Click to Update Google Chrome’ button if you need to update your browser to the latest version. If this button is missing, you are already on the latest version. If the update is needed, click ‘Relaunch’ to initiate the update, this will restart your computer so make sure to save all incomplete work before performing this action. If you are not able to use Google Chrome, please speak with your internal IT Team who will be able to ensure your browser is up to date. 3. Clear your Internet Cache and Cookies. On Google Chrome (Our recommended browser), Click the three dots at the top right of the browser window, then click ‘More Tools’, followed by ‘Clear Browsing Data’. A pop-up box will then appear with some options. At the top you can choose a Time Range, to delete everything, select ‘All Time’ or choose a set period of time. Make sure to tick the boxes which read, ‘Cookies and other Site Data’ and ‘Cached Images and Files’. Once you are happy with your selections, click ‘Clear Data’. 4. Check Pop-ups are not blocked. On Google Chrome (Our recommended browser), Click the three dots at the top right of the browser window, then click ‘Settings’, then click ‘Privacy and Security’ on the options down the left hand side of the screen. Then click ‘Site Settings’ down the centre of the screen, then scroll down to bottom of screen and click ‘Pop-ups and Redirects’. On this page you can allow all pop-ups by checking the top option titled ‘Sites can send pop-ups and Redirects’ or if you scroll down, you can add individual companies which you allow pop-ups and redirects from by clicking the ‘Add’ button and entering the website URL of your companies learning portal. 5. If you are still having difficulties, please try restarting your computer. Also**, try using Google Chrome Browser** instead (if you haven’t already). 6. If you are still having issues after restarting your computer, please contact support@bobsbusiness.co.uk with a screenshot and description of the issue you are having and we will be happy to help you further.
